Terms of Service

1. Who we are

LinkMedic and LinkMedic Pro are made by Johannes Rukaber, trading as JRDevDesign, Adam-Stegerwald-Straße 20, 63811 Stockstadt am Main, Germany ("we", "us"). Contact: johannes@jrdevdesign.com. These terms apply to every purchase and use of LinkMedic Pro.

2. Who sells it to you

Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, charges and remits sales tax or VAT, and issues your invoice. The Lemon Squeezy buyer terms apply to the payment itself; these terms cover the software, the license and support.

3. What you buy

LinkMedic Pro is ready-made, downloadable software: an add-on for the free LinkMedic plugin for WordPress. It adds automatic redirects for broken internal links, replacement suggestions, bulk fixing, an affiliate link monitor, Internet Archive copies for dead sources and a weekly email report. We do not sell consulting, custom development or any other service. The product is the same for every customer.

Requirements: the free LinkMedic plugin, WordPress 6.5 or later and PHP 8.1 or later. Please check them before buying; the free plugin lets you try the scanner first.

4. Delivery

Delivery is instant and digital. Right after payment you get an email with your license key and a link to download the plugin. The download and key are also available in your Lemon Squeezy order page. Nothing is shipped.

5. License and subscription

• A license is sold per year for 1, 3 or 25 websites. One website means one WordPress installation (one site URL) where the license key is activated. You can move a key to another site by deactivating it first.
• The license renews automatically every year at the price shown at purchase until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your order email or by writing to us; the license then stays active until the end of the paid year.
• An active license gives you plugin updates and email support. If a license ends, LinkMedic Pro keeps working on your sites; you just stop receiving updates and support.
• The plugin code is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, like WordPress itself. The license key, the update service and support are personal to you and may not be resold or shared publicly.

6. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Details are in our Refund Policy.

7. Support

Support is by email at johannes@jrdevdesign.com. We usually answer within two working days. Support covers installing, configuring and using LinkMedic Pro; it does not include work on your site, theme or other plugins.

8. Your responsibilities

LinkMedic Pro changes links and creates redirects on your site when you ask it to or when you turn on the automatic options. Keep regular backups of your site and database, as you would for any plugin, and review automatic changes in the plugin's logs.

9. Warranty and liability

We build and test LinkMedic Pro carefully, but we cannot promise that it finds every broken link, that every suggested replacement is correct or that it works with every theme, plugin and host. External services the plugin uses (Lemon Squeezy for license activation, the Internet Archive for archived copies) may be unavailable at times.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, and only up to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract. Otherwise our liability is excluded. Statutory warranty rights for consumers remain unaffected.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or plans. The version in force at the time of your purchase or renewal applies to that period. We will tell existing customers about material changes by email before a renewal.

11. Law and disputes

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in still apply. We are not willing or obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
