Offline use
Journal data is stored on your device. Transcription works offline when your phone has an on-device speech model (offline language pack); otherwise Apple or Google speech services need internet. Export JSON backups from Settings if you need a copy.
Microphone
Required for recording and transcription. Grant permission when prompted.
Language
The app follows your device language (German or English).
